Plain-language summary of what RepsDesk collects, where it lives, and your choices. Last updated 9 September 2026.
RepsDesk is an independent interview-practice tool for finance recruiting. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any bank, firm, or school. This policy explains what we handle and how you stay in control.
Your practice data is saved in your browser (local storage). When you're signed in, your scorecards, rating, and profile also sync to our database (Supabase) so your history follows you across devices. Your resume text stays in your browser and is not synced.
We use a small set of service providers to run the product:
Your microphone audio is transcribed in your browser (using your browser's speech recognition) and is not uploaded to us; only the resulting text is sent to score the interview. We do not sell your data, and we never share it with the firms or schools named in practice questions.
Leaderboards are opt-in. If you join, other players see only your chosen display name, your rating, and — if you've verified and chosen to show it — your school. They never see your email, your answers, or your scorecards. You can leave the leaderboard at any time in Settings, and hide your school while keeping a global rank.
We keep your data until you delete it. Settings → Delete all practice history removes your sessions and scorecards from this browser and from your account. You can also remove your school affiliation, leave the leaderboard, and sign out at any time. To delete your entire account, email us from your account address and we'll remove it.
RepsDesk is intended for university students and other adults. It is not directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
If we change this policy we'll update the date above and, for material changes, note it in the app.
